Stephane Hauradou, Co-founder of QuickPlay, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the May 2016 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Hauradou demonstrates how the QuickPlay FPGA development platform was used to build a FPGA-based vision accelerator from scratch. The demo consisted in a 10GigE Vision camera pushing 10G video data into a Xilinx Kintex UltraScale-based FPGA card and the video data being processed in real-time inside the FPGA where a color separation filter, IP from partner Auviz Systems, was applied to the video stream before being sent to the server for display. Like QuickPlay, Auviz Systems and Xilinx are also Embedded Vision Alliance member companies.
