Achronix Semiconductor Demonstration of Speedcore eFPGA Capabilities on a 16 nm Validation Chip

Robert Fulton, Senior Staff Applications Engineer at Achronix Semiconductor, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the December 2017 Embedded Vision Alliance Vision Industry and Technology Forum. Specifically, Fulton demonstrates Speedcore™ eFPGA capabilities on the company's 16 nm (16FF+) validation chip.

The Achronix AC16tTC01AC01A is a 16-nm validation device that contains a Speedcore™ eFPGA core with 40K look-up-tables (LUTs), 48 BRAMs, 72 DSP64s and a high-performance routing architecture designed for applications such as AI/ML, 5G wireless, high-performance computing, automotive and data centers. In this design, Achronix demonstrates band-pass filters implemented at regular frequency increments, similar to the kind of filtering that would be done in wireless applications.

Here you’ll find a wealth of practical technical insights and expert advice to help you bring AI and visual intelligence into your products without flying blind.
