Montreal, Canada, November 15, 2018 – Algolux, the leading provider of machine learning optimization platforms for autonomous vision, has received a Companies-to-Watch award. The award spotlights emerging companies that exhibit strong growth and show potential to be a future candidate of the Technology Fast 50 award.

Allan Benchetrit, Algolux CEO, credits the deep technology and novel approach the company is taking to address deficiencies in computer vision and imaging in today’s mission-critical automotive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles. Benchetrit said, “Current architectures limit the accuracy of these computer vision systems, especially in difficult imaging conditions like low light or adverse weather, and camera development teams are hampered by painfully manual processes for image quality tuning. We’re thrilled to be recognized with the Fast 50 award due to the impact our deep learning and optimization technology will have on enabling safer vehicles and for our potential for growth”

Companies-to-watch winners are new companies headquartered in Canada, demonstrating superior technology, effective management experience and common traits of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award winners. To be eligible, candidates must also devote a significant portion of their operating revenues to creating proprietary technology or intellectual property.

“We’re proud to recognize this year’s Companies-to-Watch winners, not only to celebrate their early achievements, but also their potential moving forward,” said Erica Pretorius, Partner and National Leader for the Technology Fast 50TM program at Deloitte Canada. “This year’s winners are integral in setting the example for younger, emerging companies on how to be courageous, seek opportunity and take calculated risks.”
