We’re looking for an experienced account management leader who thrives on enabling customer success with technology and who can quickly advance a large, existing sales pipeline and independently identify new opportunities.  You’ll work closely with Embedded Vision Alliance top management and other industry luminaries to add system design and manufacturing companies to our large and growing industry partnership.  

Computer Vision:  Computer vision enables systems, devices and applications to understand the world visually.  Once limited to a few niche applications, today computer vision is being deployed in thousands of products in automotive, consumer, retail, public safety, industrial and entertainment applications.  The market for computer vision hardware, software and services is projected to grow at 33% per year to over $50B in the next 5 years.  

The Embedded Vision Alliance:  The Embedded Vision Alliance is the only industry partnership focused on advancing the use of computer vision in products and systems.  The Alliance was founded in 2011, and has initially focused on attracting technology suppliers (providers of processors, sensors, tools, etc.) as members.  This has resulted in robust growth, and currently the Alliance comprises over 60 technology supplier members.

In addition to technology suppliers, today system design and manufacturing companies are increasingly inquiring about becoming part of the Alliance.  In response, the Alliance has introduced two new offerings:

  • For companies incorporating vision in their products for the first time, the Embedded Vision Alliance offers the Vision Accelerator Program.  This program provides customized guidance, insights and connections to help companies quickly navigate the complexities of creating products with visual perception capabilities.
  • For design companies already using vision technology in their products, Solution Membership in the Embedded Vision Alliance enables better product development decisions through access to unique resources, such as member-only education and networking events and market research reports.

Role:  Your focus will be adding system design and manufacturing companies to the Embedded Vision Alliance through membership and consulting services offerings.  Our preference is to start this role as part-time (20-30 hours a week), potentially growing to full-time as the business grows.  We offer a commission-based compensation program with an initial training/ramp-up period.

Location:  Based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.  You can work out of our office in Walnut Creek (East Bay) and/or from home. 


  • Successful track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding quotas, with preference for experience selling technology consulting or engineering services.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years B-to-B sales experience, including experience selling to technical decision-makers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Experience with computer vision and embedded systems, or the ability to quickly come up to speed on these technologies.
  • Experience in engineering, business development or marketing in embedded systems technology is preferred.
