To the community:

What Imager would you recommend, if the Kodak KAI-0340-DUAL (VGA, 210 fps) is "almost" fast enough for your application. We are looking forward to about 300 to 500 fps...

Any recommendations are welcome.

Regards, Joerg

I am using Kodak KAI-0340-DUAL with partial scan mode achieving above 1000fps.

If you need full frame at 500fps, the LUPA 1300 is the option.

At the higher end, the Mikrotron EoSens 3CL can do 1280x1024 at 628fps, or 512x512 at 2958fps, or 320x240 at 9797fps.

I am using the Kodak KAI-0340-DUAL (VGA, 210 fps) at partial scan mode. It can go up to 1500 fps.

If you need higher frame rate, the LUPA 1300 can serve the purpose. It can go up to 5000 fps on a region of interest.

If you even higher frame rate, you can check the 150000 fps Mikrotron EoSens:

Note that the the peak frame rate of EoSens may not be achievable on an off-the-shelf framegrabber.
