The Embedded Vision Summit
Engineers: Learn to Design Machines That See!
The Embedded Vision Alliance regularly hosts Embedded Vision Summits, technical educational forums for engineers interested in incorporating visual intelligence into electronic systems and software, and held in various locations both in the United States and (coming soon) internationally. Sign up for the Embedded Vision Insights newsletter and other email correspondence from the Alliance, either during website registration or (if you're already registered) by updating your user profile, in order to receive alerts regarding upcoming Summits and other Alliance events. You can also monitor the Alliance's LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook social media channels for this information, along with the Alliance's primary website RSS feed.
The next Embedded Vision Summit is scheduled to take place on May 29, 2014 in Santa Clara, California. It will be preceded on May 28, 2014 by one or multiple hands-on workshops led by Alliance member companies. See here for more information, including an event overview, the conference program, select speaker biographies and presentation abstracts, details on associated workshops, event sponsors, companies participating in the technology showcase, travel suggestions, and an online registration form.
This video summarizes attendee and Alliance member company representative impressions of the April 2013 Embedded Vision Summit, held in San Jose, California:
Great Events for System, Software and Chip Design Engineers
Embedded Vision Summits provide technical educational forums for engineers, including how-to presentations, seminars, demonstrations, and opportunities to interact with Alliance member companies. These events are intended to:
- Inspire engineers' imaginations about the potential applications for embedded vision technology through exciting presentations and demonstrations.
- Offer practical know-how for engineers to help you incorporate vision capabilities into your products.
- Provide opportunities for engineers to meet and talk with leading embedded vision technology companies and learn about their offerings.
Press and Analysts Welcome
For business and technology publication editors, market researchers, and financial analysts, Summits provided unique insights into the business and technology drivers behind the rapid proliferation of embedded vision – "machines that see" – in virtually every category of electronic products, from automobiles to consumer electronics to health care. Summits provide a concentrated opportunity to hear from and interact with embedded vision leaders from industry and academia, and culminated in a series of live demonstrations of new embedded vision products and technologies.
Alliance Membership and Summit Sponsorship
Embedded Vision Summits are Alliance Member-funded events which enable Alliance Member companies to highlight their leadership in embedded vision and capture the attention of design engineers, press and analysts interested in embedded vision. The Alliance offers sponsorship and other marketing opportunities to companies leading the embedded vision revolution. If you're interested in joining the Embedded Vision Alliance, please see here.
