Research Advisory Board

The mission of the Embedded Vision Alliance's Research Advisory Board is three-fold:

  • Create a vibrant bridge between the computer vision research and commercial worlds, where ideas can be shared and partnerships formed
  • Guide the Alliance to create deeper collaborations with researchers, and better engagements with students, emphasizing topics with potential for commercial deployment in the near future
  • Guide the Alliance on topics of importance in the Alliance’s programs

Below are the current members of the Alliance's Research Advisory Board:

Eugenio Culurciello

Eugenio Culurciello is the Founder and CEO of Teradeep, as well as an Associate Professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and College of Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He received the Laurea (M.S.) degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Trieste, Italy, subsequently receiving a second M.S. degree and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He was previously both a researcher and Associate Professor at Yale University.
