September 2012 Embedded Vision Summit Presentation: “Automotive Safety Applications and Algorithms,” Gabby Yi, Analog Devices

Gabby Yi, DSP Applications Engineer at Analog Devices, presents the "Automotive Safety Applications and Algorithms" tutorial within the "Embedded Vision Applications and Algorithms" technical session at the September 2012 Embedded Vision Summit. Gabby’s presentation provides a brief overview of the evolution of automotive safety and associated safety standards, with a number of examples of current Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Gabby also discusses the vision processing challenges associated with the development and deployment of ADAS systems, presenting block diagrams and dataflow of an example traffic sign recognition/image processing function.
