Nagesh Gupta, CEO and Founder of Auviz Systems, demonstrates the company's latest embedded vision technologies and products at the May 2016 Embedded Vision Summit. Specifically, Gupta demonstrates free space detection using semantic segmentation, a technique wherein every pixel of an image is segmented into different categories. Semantic segmentation is performed using AuvizDNN, a framework to implement Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and applications based on CNNs, with FPGAs.
