In this third video of a planned series with various IMS Research analysts, Brian and John discuss the various applications for embedded vision in machine vision applications, feature set evolutions for the cameras that implement machine vision (sensors, communications, illumination, etc), sizes of both the overall market and subsets, and various market trends.
Apologies in advance for the minor audio flaws that periodically appear in the presentation, due to the Skype-based interview format and the lengthy distance between interviewer (US) and interviewee (UK). John and Brian plan to re-do the interview in a face-to-face setting later this year.

I enjoyed the interview - it gave a very good overview of the industry, market segments, and trends including emergence of CMOS technology and SMART cameras.
